Different things that I love to do.

Piano
I have been playing piano for about eight or nine years now. Might even be longer. I started when I was pretty young, but I don't remember the exact age I was. I started lessons with my Mom's friend who taught piano at a church on weekends. Then she had a baby so I stopped taking lessons for about a year, but I continued to teach myself. Then I took up lessons with a lady name Mrs. Leopold. Her whole family were like grand pianists. It was insane. She taught me for about a year, and then I got "fired" lol. I never called in when I couldn't make it and she got fed up with me and stopped teaching me. I've been teaching myself ever since. I can play a bunch of popular music as well as classical. I'm at the point where I can pick up anything and figure it out. A few of my favorite songs to play include A Thousand Miles by Vanessa Carlton, Pirates of the Caribbean, and I'm working on Clair De Lune by Debussy.

Dance
I've been dancing since I was five. I started lessons at Richie's School of Dance and continued taking lessons their until the fall of ninth grade. I had fun there and thought the dances were hard, until I realized what hard really was. My ninth grade year I joined my highschool dance team. Cumberland Valley Dance Team. At my studio we would work on technique over the summer for like two weeks and the was the extent of it. On dance team, we practice three days a week the whole summer, with six hour choreography days and a week of choreography camp. Its more like boot camp over the summer. But I've improved greatly with all my skills. At my studio I could barely do a double pirouette. Now I have a quad. I didn't even know what fouettes were while dancing at my studio, and now I can do over twelve of them in a row. Switches, Calypsoes, turning switches, switch opens, there are a ton of things I never would have been able to accomplish if it wasn't for this team. And it's a great team. We were four-time national champions at EDA (Eastern Dance Association). I am now out of highschool and therefore no longer a part of that team. I already miss CVDT to death. But now I am dancing in college. It's my minor and I'm learning so much more. I would never, ever give up dance.

Graphic Design
I've been working with websites and graphics for many years now. Ever since around 7th grade. I'm amazed at how far I've come. I remember my first website was a Lord of the Rings fansite calle "Lotr Lovers." Then I made a fansite for Pirates of the Caribbean. That one didn't last very long, only about a summer. Then I started Toxic Thoughts which eventually became Plastic Flowers. I bought this domain in November 2004 and I intend to keep it. The programs I work with are Photoshop CS3, Dreamweaver, and FileZilla. I do all my blending and designing in Photoshop. Then I use Dreamweaver and FileZilla to code and upload the websites. I also intend to make a career in webdesigning. It's good fun and you get paid for it. That's the best part.
