My nickname is Lynnie and that's what most people call me. Except my little sister, she calls me Satan. I'm 19 years old and I've been designing for about five years. I'm a sophmore at La Roche College. I'm majoring in Graphic / Communication Design and I'm minoring in Dance. I have a wonderful boyfriend named Kennon whom I love with all my heart :] I'm a ballerina. Leotard, tights, and all. I've been dancing since I was five years old. You do the math. It's always been a part of my life. Dancing is my happy place. When I dance, I forget about everything that is wrong, and I'm just happy.
I'm a fairly nice person. Maybe a little too nice. Sometimes being nice means being taken advantage of. I'm not a social person at all. I usually keep to myself, shy you could say. I'm not very outgoing, but I like to be that way. It's called being an introvert. Look it up. Basically I'm anti-social. I understand that being quiet usually comes across as being stuck up or snobby, but I promise you, I'm not. I'm a very friendly, accepting, non-judgmental person :]
I am a Christian. Presbyterian, specifically. I do believe in God and that Jesus is our savior. I don't attend church much, however my faith is still very strong. I'm not very involved in any community projects, but I try to be. I try to help out whenever I can. I believe that anyone can get to heaven and that there are many different ways of getting there.

I absolutely hate rap and country music. It's torture to be around any of it. Working, yeah you get money, but It's too much effort. Cheerleaders (enough said). I hate fake people. Hippocrites. I hate big time preps - girls who wear SO much makeup that they look completely fake. Anyone who talks behind anothers back, stands people up, straight out LIES to peoples faces.. I have no respect for them.
There are several very worthy causes that I am very active in and donate to. The first would be SaveDarfur.org. Save Darfur is an organization dedicated to ending the genocide in Sudan, Africa. Another group related to the genocide is STAND (Students Taking Action Now: Darfur). Me and one of my best friends started our very own STAND chapter in our highschool and donated over $500 to the cause. I'm also a member of StopGlobalWarming.org. I believe global warming is happening and I do what I can to save energy and reduce CO2 emissions. Another website I visit frequently is thehungersite.com. I encourage ALL of you to go there and click the button on the home page. With every click, a child is fed, an animal is saved, a woman gets a free mammogram, and the rain forest is saved. Finally, I also visit amnestyusa.org and participate in write-a-thons and other events to give hope to prisoners of conscience.
